Thanks to these SAECO degreasing tablets you will be able to remove all the dirt or avoid blockages on the coffee distribution group or the filter holder caused by the coffee grease. 

This product can also be used to clean thermos jugs and coffee makers.

To ensure the proper functioning of your Saeco espresso machine, we recommend using this product once a month.

How to use:

Coffee/espresso machines with a compartment for ground coffee

- Place a cup under the coffee spout. Fill the tank with clean water. 

- Place a degreasing tablet in the ground coffee compartment and press the coffee grinder button.

- Press the brew button to start the brew cycle. When half a cup has been prepared, press the on/off button to turn the machine off.

- Allow the degreasing solution to work for at least 15 minutes.

- Empty the cup. Turn on the machine and complete the cycle. Empty the cup again. 

- Remove the coffee unit and rinse it thoroughly under tap water.

- Reinsert the coffee group and place a cup under the drip unit.

- Press the coffee grinder button twice to let the machine perform two brewing cycles without ground coffee. Empty the cup.

- To clean the drip tray, place a degreasing tablet in the tray and fill it with hot water to two-thirds of its capacity. Allow the degreasing solution to work for at least 30 minutes. Then rinse the drip tray thoroughly under running water.

- Your machine is now clean and ready to use.

 

Coffee/espresso machines without ground coffee compartment

- Place a degreasing tablet in a cup and fill the cup with hot water. Wait until the tablet is completely dissolved.

- Remove the coffee group and clean the filters and the drain channel with the degreasing solution. If necessary, use a small sponge or brush.

- Leave the degreasing solution to work for at least 15 minutes.

- Rinse the coffee unit thoroughly under running water, then reinsert it.

- To clean the drip tray, place a degreasing tablet in it and fill it with hot water to two-thirds of its capacity. Allow the degreasing solution to work for at least 30 minutes. Then rinse the drip tray thoroughly under running water.

- Your machine is now clean and ready to use.

 

Coffee machines with portafilter

- Turn off the machine and let it cool down.

- Unscrew the filter holder and remove it from the machine. Remove the filter from the filter holder. Place the filter holder in a container. Add a tablet to the container and fill it with hot water. Allow the solution to work for at least 30 minutes.

- Remove the filter holder from the container containing the degreasing solution and rinse it thoroughly under tap water until it is clean.

- Replace the filter in the filter holder, then replace the filter holder in the unit.

- Place a cup under the spout unit and prepare a cup without putting ground coffee in the filter. Empty the cup.

- Your machine is now clean and ready to use.
