Cafés Lugat - Moka Michiti - Coffee Beans 250g

Michiti Mocha will surprise you with its clarity and the absence of residue in the cup. When tasted, the clear roasting work carried out by our experts can be felt in the cup with a very smooth attack. You can also feel the acidity linked to the presence of red fruits, especially berries. A well-balanced coffee with a smooth body and a delicious mouthfeel thanks to the notes of yellow peach and cane sugar in the finish.

The farm:

Grown in the iconic Kaffa region, this Michiti coffee comes from the Habtamu farm. The farm consists of 97 hectares, 90 of which are devoted to coffee trees, each of which contributes its own unique contribution to the production of these world-renowned coffees. The leaves of the Bisana and Wanza trees are very good compost for the soil, while the Sasa crown provides the cherries with natural shade. These coffees are the result of the work of more than 180 people, a rich agroforestry system, special drying from the 70 African beds on this farm and the washing station in Matapi Michiti.
The famer:

On this farm, Habtamu grows two different coffees, varieties 74110 and 74112, across its 90 hectares of land. They are divided into two lots: each variety is grown on 45 hectares. This caring and committed grower puts all his energy into helping to preserve the vast ecosystem of this region. The coffee forest provides the cherries with natural shade, ideal for their slow maturation. Habtamu pays particular attention to its harvests in order to offer a complex product, true to the exceptional coffees of Ethiopia. To achieve this, it produces mostly washed coffee from the Matapa Michiti station to further develop the aromatic qualities of the beans. However, it also offers coffee in the natural process through its 70 African beds.
