Discover Halo Beriti Ethiopia Coffee Beans - Lugat – 200g

Ethiopia Halo Beriti coffee beans 200 g micro-lot arabica from Gedeb roasted by Cafés Lugat

Halo Beriti Ethiopia Coffee Beans: An Exceptional Micro-Lot

The Halo Beriti Ethiopia coffee beans offers a specialty coffee, 100% Arabica, sourced from a rare micro-lot grown in the Gedeb region, on the border between Yirgacheffe and Guji.

Grown between 1,900 and 2,300 metres above sea level, the plantations benefit from rich red volcanic soil and an ideal climate to develop complex aromas. The Heirloom varieties are cultivated by around 550 small producers on shaded micro-plots protected by native trees.

This unique terroir gives birth to a washed process Ethiopian coffee with a floral and fruity aromatic profile.

Experience this exceptional coffee at home by adding it to your basket. You can also explore our world of coffee beans.

washed Ethiopian Halo Beriti coffee beans with floral, citrus and yellow fruit notes

A Washed Ethiopian Coffee with Preserved Aromas, by Cafés Lugat

At the Halo Beriti washing station, operated by EDN Ethiopian Coffee, every lot of Halo Beriti Ethiopia coffee beans is handled with the utmost care through a washed process. The cherries, hand-picked and delivered the same day, go through floating selection and mechanical depulping, followed by a 24–48 hour fermentation. They are then rinsed with clean water and dried on raised African beds for 10 to 15 days.

This meticulous process highlights the aromatic precision of the terroir — a true reflection of the care given from the field to the final drying phase. In the cup, it reveals a gentle attack with notes of green tea and orange. The body remains light, supported by a hint of lime zest, while the lingering finish expresses elegant bergamot tones with a delicate mineral touch.
