Grand Cru Coffee Beans: Brazil Aramosa

  • Origin and history of this coffee

Brazil Aramosa, pure origin coffee beans, have their roots in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. More precisely, this coffee comes from the Inácio Carlos Urban farm, located at an altitude of 1150 metres. The topography and climate of this farm are ideal for growing this exceptional coffee.

  • Why is this coffee a Grand Cru?

These coffee beans come from one of the most emblematic coffee-growing regions in the world.

The land of Brazil was chosen as the origin for these coffee beans because of its rich history. Indeed, it was in this region of the world that the Cup of Excellence was first held in 1999, a competition that is now repeated worldwide. Cafés Lugat has chosen to collaborate with the Inácio Carlos Urban farm, run by a true enthusiast for whom the quality and traceability of his batches are absolute priorities, with the aim of producing exceptional coffees.

The coffee takes its name from the variety it is made from: Aramosa. This new variety, a cross between Coffea Arabica and Coffea Racemosa, is distinguished by its naturally low caffeine content, which is half that of conventional beans. Appreciated for its vibrant cup results, Aramosa offers a dynamic and unique taste experience.

Finally, the process adopted, a traditional natural treatment which consists of drying the whole cherries, contributes to revealing a cup with a beautiful balance.

  • Tasting

Aramosa Brazil coffee beans have a sparkling, tangy attack with accents of bright citrus fruits such as blood orange. A generous body reminiscent of passion fruit nectar. A refreshing finish with hints of watermelon and delicate floral notes of violet.
