Paragon Espresso Set – Cooling Technology

The Paragon Espresso Set captures the volatile compounds of espresso thanks to an optimised cooling system. Developed by Nucleus in collaboration with the University of Zurich, Paragon was designed to preserve these delicate elements and elevate every extraction.

Thanks to its patented design, Paragon uses innovative cooling technology to enhance extraction and is perfectly suited to espresso brewing. The result of several years of research, it can capture up to 40% more key volatile compounds than a standard espresso extracted without cooling—revealing aromas that would otherwise be lost as well as increasing retention rate.

The 30mm Paragon chilling rock, made from food-grade stainless steel and coated with titanium, ensures fast and even cooling. Its high-density gel core retains cold for longer and freezes more quickly than conventional alternatives.

Height-adjustable, it adapts easily to a wide range of cups and coffee machines, with non-slip grips for optimum stability.

All materials are food-safe and have been approved by the Forestry Office.
