D-Kanta MG05 Manual Coffee Grinder

A robust, plastic-free manual coffee grinder.

The D-Kanta MG05 is an elegant hand grinder with a sturdy black anodised aluminium body.

The machining technology of the aluminium parts is the same as that used for some of the most famous aircraft and computer parts, ensuring high precision in the manufacture of the parts. 

>The body of the mill and the inner tenants of the grinding wheel axle are a single piece of aluminium.

The central axle is held along the entire length of the mill body by 3 aluminium spokes with a double ball bearing (one under the cover, the other above the wheels).

With this combination of spokes and bearing position, the grinding wheels remain stable and the axle does not move, guaranteeing a perfectly uniform grind.

The aluminium used is anodised: this means that it is not painted, so it is more durable and there is no risk of finding bits of paint in your grind! 

It is also a material that will not scratch. 

Another advantage of the D-Kanta MG05 manual grinder is the assurance that neither your coffee nor your grind will come into contact with plastic.

Its removable handle has a wooden tip that is wide enough for comfortable grinding, even for people with large hands. 

A non-slip silicon strip provides a more comfortable grip.

The ergonomic design of the D-Kanta MG05 is designed to allow you to grind your coffee without too much effort.

Other features and settings

The D-Kanta MG05 manual coffee grinder has 38 mm stainless steel conical grinding wheels and can grind up to 25 g of coffee beans.

The grind setting is located under the top of the grinder. Simply turn the knob clockwise to fine grind, counter-clockwise for coarser grinds. 

This adjustment is done by notches (12 positions and about 50 clicks).

The grinding container is also made of anodised aluminium.

0 to 5 = Turkish coffee

5 to 8 = Espresso with single filters

8 to 15 = Espresso with pressurized filters

12 to 17 = Italian coffee maker / Moka pot

16 to 20 = V60

12 to 27 = Aeropress

18 to 22 = Electric filter coffee maker

20 to 25 = Chemex

22 to 27 = Piston coffee maker

22 to 30 = Cupping

25 to 30 = Cold brew
