The new Comandante X25 TRAILMASTER manual coffee grinder is a sturdy, robust and lightweight coffee grinder.

The polygonal body is painstakingly moulded into a stable single piece using cutting edge techniques. TRAILMASTER Dune is equipped with a state-of-the art Nitro Blade burr for familiar world class grind performance in this extraordinary new body.

Selecting the best material for an outdoor grinder body is mission critical. After comprehensive research in our laboratories and after conducting extensive field tests, our engineers selected a special reinforced techno-polymer as the material of choice for the new X-Series outdoor products – QTP.

QTP is a high performance techno-polymer with a substantial amount of quartz reinforcement particles, interwoven into an elastic and strong long-chain polymer matrix. It feels like ceramic and performs like a technical super composite. The QTP composite was originally developed for mechanical and equipment engineering. It’s also used in the automotive industry for bearing and gearbox components.

High-quality Grinding Wheels

The Nitro Blade grinding wheels made of hardened steel in the Comandante X25 Trailmaster Dune mill have a very well thought-out geometry and structure. They are highly efficient and the mechanism produces a surprisingly uniform grind.

The burr material and design is the proud result of years of dedicated research and development at Comandante’s onsite coffee lab. Nitro Blade is unique, using a high-alloyed, high-nitrogen stainless steel with a fine martensitic micro-crystal matrix.

The Comandante X25 Trailmaster Dune manual coffee grinder is extremely versatile and can grind from very fine coffee (for Turkish coffee) to coarse coffee (for cafetière coffee).

Adjustments & Other Features

To ajust the grind size just turn the 3-pointed star clockwise to fine tune the grind, counter-clockwise for a coarser grind. A "click" action locks in your preferred setting.

The polymer container allows you to transfer from the grinder to the portafilter, or store your grind. A silicone lid/cap is provided for this purpose.

Stainless steel internal mechanism and crank handle, with a magnetic system to secure the crank handle to the hopper.

The hopper can hold up to 30g of coffee beans.

The wooden end of the handle is made of European oak.

Weight: 420 g (about 1/3 lighter than the Comandante C40).

Comandante guarantees its manual grinders for life (unless a problem is due to misuse or user error).
