About the AquaClean Water Filter
The AquaClean CA6903/00 cartridge has a microporous filter coffee that limits the presence of impurities in your water. This cartridge's ion exchange technology limits the presence of limescale in the water, preventing deposits. If you change the filter coffee every three months, the amount of limescale in your coffee machine will be significantly reduced. With the AquaClean filter coffee, only filtered water reaches your cup.
However, be careful: activating AquaClean deactivates the descaling indicator on some machines. You need to be vigilant about the frequency of descaling to ensure that your coffee remains of excellent quality.
Why Do You Need to Descale Your Machine?
There are several stages in the maintenance of a coffee machine (rinsing the group head every week, greasing and degreasing the group head once a month, changing the liquid descaler, the water filter cartridge and the AquaClean every quarter, etc.), and descaling is an integral part of this. Descaling your coffee machine is essential if you want to keep it in good condition for longer, and if you want purified water and a good cup result. Descaling reduces the hardness of your water, so you get a more pleasant cup result.
With an AquaClean filter coffee, descaling can be significantly spaced out. With the l'AquaClean filter coffee, you don't need to descale your machine before 5,000 cups. However, to enjoy this level of convenience, you need to change the AquaClean filter coffee every 3 months or 625 cups.
