Treat Yourself to This Pure Origin Ground Coffee from Honduras

Terra Etica ground coffee from Honduras, certified organic and Fair Trade, an unforgettable flavour to savour at any time. This 250 g format should make it easier for you to discover this coffee, with a small quantity and an affordable price, but always with maximum aroma.
Terra Etica has selected a coffee grown on the land of Marcala, within the COMSA cooperative. Grown at an altitude of 1000 to 1500 metres, this Arabica coffee is certified organic and fair trade.
Strong and rich, it reveals aromas of toasted almonds and dark chocolate, ideal for a filter coffee at lunchtime, thanks to its medium roast achieved in France.
The coffee farmers of Marcala, heirs of the Lenca people, preserve traditional agricultural practices despite the disappearance of their language. The COMSA cooperative is a model in terms of organic production, influencing the cultivation of organic coffee on a national scale. Located at an altitude of 1300 to 1500 metres, Marcala has overcome the coffee rust crisis (2012-2013) by cultivating more resistant varieties, such as Typica.

Today, thanks to their know-how, Marcala produces an exceptional coffee protected by a PDO, adopting organic and biodynamic practices. COMSA continues to innovate, passing on its knowledge via its La Fortaleza centre, where training in natural composting and fertilisation is provided to producers. With the support of 25 agronomists, the cooperative is constantly improving its yields and the quality of its beans, surpassing national standards.
