Fall in love with this Sapporo cast iron tea set in midnight blue. This small teapot (65cl capacity) has a large stainless steel removable filter inside for your loose leaf tea. Supplied with 2 x 12cl matching cups, perfect for an elegant tea break! Free 50g loose leaf tea with this set.

This Chinese cast iron teapot is ideal for keeping your tea at the right temperature for longer.

The micro-perforated stainless steel infuser prevents the tea leaves from escaping. Because of its width, the tea leaves came float around freely and release all their flavours.

Cast iron teapots are ideal for delicate teas such as green teas and white teas (as they must infuse at lower temperatures and for longer) because cast iron keeps the water at the right temperature throughout the infusion time.

Advice:

It is important to heat the teapot thoroughly before use by rinsing it with boiling water so the inside of the teapot is preheated.

Please respect the infusion times and water temperatures indicated on the packaging of your loose leaf tea.

This teapot does not go in the dishwasher.

Do not use detergents, just rinse with clear water. The tannin that settles on the walls should not be removed.

Do not use this teapot directly on a stove top or on a fire.
