Description

Discover the excellence of Guatemalan coffee beans with Dona Juana from La Semeuse. This 100% Arabica, from the Caturra and Catuai varieties, is grown organically in the volcanic region of Chimaltenango, at an altitude of between 1,400 and 2,200 metres. Thanks to the mineral-rich soil, it develops unique aromas, combining sweetness and nuances of yellow fruit. Its dark roast enhances its flavours in espresso or coffee, revealing intense notes of dark chocolate, molasses and a subtle hint of citrus. In its practical 500g format, this organic and Fair Trade coffee is ideal for enjoying an authentic taste experience while respecting its values.

La Semeuse

Coming from a family of peddlers from the Alsace region of France, Marc Bloch founded La Semeuse in 1900 , specialising in the import and distribution of groundnut oil.

It was only a few years later that La Semeuse diversified into the world of coffee roasting.

After the Second World War, they stopped importing oil and devoted all their energy and dynamism to importing, roasting and distributing coffee.
