All You Need to Know About Horae's Wood Flower Blooming Tea
Horae has designed these blooming tea flowers for you. These flowering tea bulbs are a new, almost artistic way of enjoying a delicate and delicious organic herbal tea. The idea behind this herbal tea is to be able to enjoy the spectacle of a flower in full bloom while enjoying the pleasure of a delicious, healthy herbal tea.
Here's how to enjoy your organic wood flower blooming tea:
- Immerse your bouquet in 50cl or 1L of simmering water (the quantity depends on your preference),
- Admire each tea flower as it opens up in the water, offering a beautiful sight as it releases its aromas,
- Enjoy your herbal tea by the fire, in front of a good film, or simply in your favourite armchair.
These bulb are made up of the following ingredients: nettle leaf (Urtica dioica), black elder flower (Sambucus nigra), horsetail leaf (Equisetum arvense), strawberry leaf (Fragaria vesca), heather flower (Calluna vulgaris).
Brewing Your Blooming Tea
Horae is a French brand of organic herbal tea whose teams are made up of passionate botanists. Each flower is grown on a family farm and harvested according to a biodynamic calendar. The flowers are dried naturally before being assembled by hand by the Horae teams to form these flowering tea bulbs. The composition of each bulb is designed to bring together the different flavours to create an explosion of flavour on the palate.
While these bulbs feature woodland flowers, others, available in our tea selection boxes, offer flavours from the fields or even the mountains. Don't hesitate to discover them!
The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
Please Note: this is not a flavoured coffee but aromatic notes noticed upon tasting.
The dominant aromatic group represents the most perceptible notes and the secondary group, the more subtle notes present in the cup.
Traditional Coffees (classic and superior) are the most common in the various distribution channels.
Specialty Coffees (rated 80-100) are among the best coffees in the world and represent less than 10% of world production. These are flawless coffees that offer unique tasting notes from one terroir (or even plot) to another.
Attributed by “Q Graders”, a coffee's /100 score is determined by the quality of the beans and the result in the cup. It is advisable to progressively move towards coffees with higher scores.
