Originating in the province of São Paulo, Brazil, Alisios Brazil coffee beans are grown in the Mogiana region, one of the country's historic coffee-growing areas, by the Serra do Ciganos cooperative.
The region owes its name to the Companhia Mogiana de Estradas de Ferro, a railway company that built the famous ‘coffee railway’ in 1883. This network played a key role in the development of coffee cultivation by facilitating its transport to export ports.
