Description
Recycling your aluminium coffee capsules will be easy with Dualit's EcoPress. With it, you can press them, rinse them and throw them in your recycling bins. Compatible with all brands of aluminium capsules.
A capsule recycler that works with the pressure of your hand
Dualit's EcoPress is made of sturdy ABS plastic. With it, you can recycle aluminium capsules of all brands (except Nespresso® Vertuo capsules), and you can do it without batteries or electricity: just with the pressure of your hands on the grey button. The EcoPress can hold the coffee grounds for up to 10 capsules. To use it, nothing could be simpler:
- Place the aluminium capsule, top side up (and only one at a time) on the EcoPress base.
- Put the EcoPress plunger back on your capsule, and press down with your hands: your capsule has compressed and opened.
- All you have to do is lift the plunger, rinse the body of the capsule and then recycle it. You can also recycle the coffee grounds obtained from the base.
Max Gort-Barten is a German entrepreneur who was living in England when the Second World War broke out. At the end of the war, he created a small factory in Camberwell, convinced he could use his engineering skills and creativity to manufacture products. He launched several concepts, including the Dual-Light electric heater (the origin of the company name Dualit), but it was a patented toaster which attracted the most attention. Many companies talk about quality, for Dualit, it is a fundamental part of their activity.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
Please Note: this is not a flavoured coffee but aromatic notes noticed upon tasting.
The dominant aromatic group represents the most perceptible notes and the secondary group, the more subtle notes present in the cup.
Traditional Coffees (classic and superior) are the most common in the various distribution channels.
Specialty Coffees (rated 80-100) are among the best coffees in the world and represent less than 10% of world production. These are flawless coffees that offer unique tasting notes from one terroir (or even plot) to another.
Attributed by “Q Graders”, a coffee's /100 score is determined by the quality of the beans and the result in the cup. It is advisable to progressively move towards coffees with higher scores.
