Traditional Coffee : These are the most widespread coffees in the various distribution channels in France, both private and professional.
Classic Coffee : There is generally a lack of information about the traceability of these coffees. They are often mass-market products and are easily accessible. The composition of these coffees can vary from 100% Arabica to over 20% Robusta.
The higher the rating, the more surprising your coffee tasting experience will be.

This is an ideal Italian whole bean coffee for espresso or ristretto. Its composition, consisting of 40% Arabica and 60% Robusta from Africa and South/Central America, gives it the intensity akin to what you'd find in a café.
Gustatorily speaking, it embodies what makes Italian coffee successful: robustness, aromatic richness, and delightful, subtle notes. This robustness comes from the dark roast that results in an intense and highly aromatic tasting experience, with delectable notes leaning towards cocoa.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
