Espresso: This coffee is a blend of multi-origin Arabica and Robusta (3 origins) for an espresso of character with notes of cocoa and toast. You'll enjoy a full body, a consistent crema in the cup and a present but delicate aftertaste. Ideal as an espresso, ristretto or cappuccino for lovers of milky drinks.
Suprema: These ESE pods are made from a blend of Arabica from 4 different origins (Brazil/Guatemala/Ethiopia) to give you a full-bodied espresso with citrus notes. The body is light, the crema consistent in the cup and the aftertaste very present. A slight acidity is present at the beginning of the mouth.
Extra bar: These ESE pods are made from a blend of multi-origin Arabica and Robusta (5 origins) for an espresso with character and chocolate notes (milk chocolate). You'll get a full body, a consistent crema in the cup and a very present aftertaste. A slight acidity is present at the beginning of the mouth, followed by a well-controlled touch of bitterness at the end of the cup. This coffee, roasted the Italian way (with a lot of effort), will appeal to lovers of strong coffee.

Caffe del Faro, a family business based in Italy, has been roasting quality 100% Italian coffees for nearly ten years.
The Italian roasting process stays true to the tradition instilled by the group's founder, Angelo Sgariglia.

Caffe del Faro
The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
Please Note: this is not a flavoured coffee but aromatic notes noticed upon tasting.
The dominant aromatic group represents the most perceptible notes and the secondary group, the more subtle notes present in the cup.

Attributed by “Q Graders”, a coffee's /100 score is determined by the quality of the beans and the result in the cup. It is advisable to progressively move towards coffees with higher scores.
