Guatemala La Libertad coffee beans, roasted in France by Cafés Lugat, is a single-origin coffee from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. It is made from the Bourbon, Caturra and Catuai varieties, grown at an altitude of 1900 metres on the San Miguel Coffees farm. This washed Arabica coffee will win you over with its medium roast and rich, fruity profile. In espresso, it reveals notes of milk chocolate, caramel, pecan and candied orange. 250g pack.

About the Farm in Guatemala
With 125 years of experience, the Falla family is one of the oldest coffee growers in Antigua. The adventure of San Miguel Coffees began more than 50 years ago, when Arturo Falla Cofiño bought the El Tempixque farm, located near Antigua, between the active volcanoes Agua, Fuego and Acatenango.
This unique terroir, at an altitude of between 1,500 and 1,900 metres, enjoys a cool climate, ideal humidity and volcanic soils rich in minerals, perfect for producing exceptional coffee. As well as coffee, the farm grows ornamental plants, including poinsettias and orchids.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
