The Guatemala La Libertad coffee beans, roasted in France by Lugat, are a single-origin coffee from the Huehuetenango region in Guatemala. They come from the Caturra and Bourbon varieties, grown between 1400 and 1850 metres altitude by a collective of producers from Todos Santos. This washed Arabica coffee will charm you with its medium roast and its gourmet and fruity profiles. As an espresso, it reveals notes of milk chocolate, caramel, pecan nuts and candied orange. Pack of 250g.

About the Farm in Guatemala
This collective venture began in 1995, when ten producers from Todos Santos founded ASODIETT. Their work does not stop at picking: the families also handle the initial processing stages and drying of the coffee, as close as possible to the farms.

Lugat
The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
