Cafés Lugat's pure origin El Maya coffee beans come from the Solola region of Atitlan, Guatemala. Grown on the Finca Santo Tomas Perdido farm at an altitude of between 950 and 1600 m, this washed specialty coffee is distinguished by its rich, fruity aromas. Lightly roasted, it will seduce you with its delicate notes of brown sugar, hazelnut and apple, perfect for enhancing your coffee moments. Available in 250g packs.

These coffee beans, available in 250g packets, are an invitation to explore the world of specialty coffee or to broaden your horizons. Cafés Lugat coffees are renowned for their fresh roast, guaranteeing a cup full of flavours. This small 250g packaging means you can enjoy your coffee with complete peace of mind, while still getting the best out of it.
The Finca Santo Tomas Perdido farm, in the Solola region of Atitlan, Guatemala, has coffee trees grown at altitudes of between 950 and 1600 metres, ensuring perfectly ripe cherries rich in flavours. This 100% Arabica coffee, made from the Caturra, Catimor, Obata and Sarchimor varieties, offers a unique taste experience.
Thanks to a light roast, specially adapted to the pour-over method, Cafés Lugat's roasters have brought out the rich, yellow-fruit notes in this coffee. Start your tasting with sweet notes of brown sugar, followed by a light body reminiscent of apple juice, to end on a rich finish with nutty aromas.

Through their range of coffee beans, ground coffees and Nespresso® compatible capsules, their mission is to bring you the unique flavour and aromas from the world's best coffee-producing areas!
Their passion for coffee has even won them awards. Marco, the brand's head roaster, was awarded the French Barista Championship title at the 2017 French Championships.
Lugat
The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
Please Note: this is not a flavoured coffee but aromatic notes noticed upon tasting.
The dominant aromatic group represents the most perceptible notes and the secondary group, the more subtle notes present in the cup.
