CAFEC is the work of Sanyo Sangyo, the Japanese filter coffee pioneer who developed the world's first cone-shaped filter coffee.
The brand went on to develop the Arita Flower CAFEC dripper, with internal grooves to maintain a sufficient layer of air between the dripper and the filter coffee.
This Arita Flower dripper is optimally shaped to ensure the water flows perfectly over the ground coffee.
The Arita Flower dripper from Cafec is made from Arita porcelain, a traditional Japanese type of porcelain: high-quality porcelain clay and stone powder are mixed to form this dripper, which is then baked at a very high temperature of 1300° C.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
