Features of the 3-cup red induction Bialetti moka pot

The red 3-cup Italian coffee maker has a capacity of 15 cl. This may come as a surprise, but in Italy the classic coffee is 5 cl, a little more than an espresso. As a result, this coffee maker can make three classic cups, or four small espressos if you just want a pleasant coffee taste in your mouth.

The water is put into the boiler (bottom reservoir), the filter is put on top and filled with coffee (remember to select a grind suitable for moka pot). The reservoir is screwed on last. Once the coffee is brewed, the pleasant handle and clever pouring spout allow you to serve it without a hitch.

How was the induction moka pot born?

Since its creation by Alfonso Bialetti, Bialetti has been renowned for its innovation in kitchen utensils, and in particular moka pot.

The Moka Express is the original Italian coffee maker, but designed in 1933, it was not designed for induction hobs, which did not exist at the time. The Moka Induction was therefore designed to meet this legitimate consumer demand for an Italian coffee maker that was true to Bialetti quality, but compatible with induction hobs.

The boiler of the Bialetti moka pot has two layers: a stainless steel exterior that can be used on induction hobs, and an aluminium interior designed for perfect heat diffusion.

Bialetti

The popular brand Bialetti began in Italy. In 1933, Bialetti released its first Moka Pot. Thanks to that product, Bialetti has become among the most known brands in the world. Thanks to the high standard of their products and by combining their advanced technology and style, they manufacture kitchen utensils which are easy to use, functional and simply beautiful : simply gorgeous.
