Brewing With Your 12 cup Bialetti Moka Pot
Since the 1950s, Moka coffee, similar to espresso, has become one of the most popular Italian coffees. One cup is about 5cl, so this 60cl cafetiere can make 12 cups.
The tank of this moka pot is made of aluminium and has eight sides, making it easier to spread the heat and improving the taste of your coffee. This moka pot is made from shiny aluminium, is suitable for all burners (except induction) and has a self-cleaning safety valve patented by Bialetti. The filter baskey is easy to inspect and clean, and can be changed if necessary.
Finally, its simple, elegant handle ensures optimum safety and grip.
About the Moka Express
The Moka express is the great classic of the large Bialetti Italian moka pot, and rightly so: it was the first model. Invented following a stroke of genius in 1933 by Alfonso Bialetti. It has become a fixture in every coffee-drinking household.
Its Art Deco style has made it an icon of ‘Made in Italy’. As such, it features in the permanent collections of the Milan Triennale and MoMA in New York.
Over the years, its design, inspired by the physique of Alfonso Bialetti's wife, has been refined to create a model that combines elegance and performance.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.

The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
