If you want to enjoy the great Italian classic, Moka coffee, your Moka Express is the ideal model! This coffee, which originated in the 1950s, is similar to espresso and is served in a 5cl cup. With a capacity of 45 cl, this Italian moka pot can make nine cups.

The aluminium reservoir has eight sides for ideal heat distribution and extraction of all the coffee's flavours. The moka pot is made from shiny aluminium, is suitable for all burners (except induction) and has a self-cleaning safety valve patented by Bialetti. The filter coffee is easy to inspect and clean, and can be changed if necessary. Finally, its simple, elegant handle makes it safe and easy to hold.

About the Moka Express

In 1933, Alfonso Bialetti - Italian engineer and founder of the famous Bialetti brand - had an idea that would revolutionise the world of coffee and the daily lives of thousands of Italians. He designed an easy-to-use cafetiere that made it possible to quickly prepare several delicious cups of coffee. The most famous Italian moka pot was born: the Moka Express.

Its design was inspired by his wife's body and the Art Deco style that was all the rage at the time. It became a symbol for the whole of Italy, and as such features in the permanent collections of the Milan Triennale and MoMA in New York.
