This Black Forest coffee is a true specialty coffee, a refined blend of Arabicas from Brazil and Ethiopia. The Mundo Novo, Yellow Catuai and Obata plantations yield coffee beans that are hand-picked at altitudes between 750 and 1,150 metres. Each bean is then roasted in France, in our own facilities, by our expert roasting teams.
In the cup, this coffee reveals vibrant, expressive notes of red fruits and chocolate thanks to its Natural Process. Black Forest offers a long, lingering finish, a round body, and indulgent jam-like notes that bring depth and generosity to every sip.
Everything You Need To Know About These Recyclable Aluminium Nespresso* Original Compatible Capsules
Not all Nespresso* Original compatible capsules are recyclable—but fortunately, these are. Alongside an exceptional coffee roasted in France, Lugat offers recyclable aluminium capsules. They can be recycled in the same way as drinks cans or small aluminium items. As for the used coffee grounds, they can be placed in your home compost or your local composting system.
Finally, these capsules are compatible with all Nespresso* Original capsule machines: Essenza®, Pixie®, U®, Maestria®, New-U®, Citiz®, Inissia®, and more. Whatever model you own, you can be sure to enjoy the full pleasure of Lugat’s Black Forest coffee, cup after cup.

Cafés Lugat boasts a team of enthusiastic young coffee roasters who select exceptional coffees and create irresistible recipes just for you. Through their range of coffee beans, ground coffees and Nespresso® compatible capsules, their mission is to bring you the unique flavour and aromas from the world's best coffee-producing areas!
Their passion for coffee has even won them awards. Marco, the brand's head roaster, was awarded the French Barista Championship title at the 2017 French Championships.
Lugat
The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
Please Note: this is not a flavoured coffee but aromatic notes noticed upon tasting.
The dominant aromatic group represents the most perceptible notes and the secondary group, the more subtle notes present in the cup.
Traditional Coffees (classic and superior) are the most common in the various distribution channels.
Specialty Coffees (rated 80-100) are among the best coffees in the world and represent less than 10% of world production. These are flawless coffees that offer unique tasting notes from one terroir (or even plot) to another.
Attributed by “Q Graders”, a coffee's /100 score is determined by the quality of the beans and the result in the cup. It is advisable to progressively move towards coffees with higher scores.
