SMEG water filter for bean to cup and espresso coffee machines

This filter efficiently removes limescale from your water to protect your coffee machine and prevent premature failure. With this water filter you get less limescale build-up in the internal tubing and on the heating system.

Plus, this cartridge also purifies the water taste to avoid spoiling the result in the cup and to fully develop the flavours of your coffee.

There is a disc on the top of the filter to remind you in which month you need to change the water filter. It has a working life of around 2 months, depending on your water hardness and usage.

Setting up:

• Run water through the filter aperture until water comes out of the side openings.
• Install the water filter in the water tank and set the water hardness on the coffee machine to Soft (follow the instructions in the manual).
• Fill the cold water tank with tap water and fully immerse the filter to expel residual air.

This filter is compatible with SMEG BCC01, BCC02, BCC03 espresso grinder coffee machines, SMEG ECF01 espresso machines and CMS4104N, CMS4104S, CMS4303X, CMS4604NR, CMS4604NX, CMSU4104S and CMSU4303X coffee machines.
