How To Use The ROK Presso Smartshot

Using the ROK Presso Smartshot is simple and intuitive:

- Preheat the filter beforehand. Use a medium-to-fine grind suitable for espresso. Add the ground coffee to the portafilter and tamp it lightly.

- Lock the portafilter firmly into the machine by turning it to the left (a distinctive feature of ROK lever machines).

- Fill the cylinder with boiled water up to the indicated level.

- Depending on the desired quantity, place one or two cups on the base and slowly lift the Smartshot arms. The water will rise slightly before you lower them.

- Press both arms down gently and steadily until they reach the bottom. This step takes around 3 seconds.

- The arms will lock into place. The coffee will be fully extracted in about 30 seconds.

- Unlock the filter and remove the coffee grounds.

Accessories Included With The Presso Smartshot By ROK Espresso

The machine comes with the following accessories:

- A 50mm chrome portafilter with a pressurised basket that holds between 15 and 20g of ground coffee, fitted with a spout.

- A splitter (to brew 2 single shots) that attaches to the portafilter to dispense two cups of coffee (ABS).

- A measuring scoop that also serves as a tamper (ABS).
