Descaler for Bean to Cup Espresso Machines - 500ml

This descaler removes all traces of limescale from your machine's pipes. This is an essential step that should not be neglected, because limescale is the number one enemy of your espresso machine. Little by little, it will build up until it clogs your machine, which can damage it and even cause leaks. A scaled machine also reduces the temperature of your drink and impairs the taste of your coffee.

This descaler is specially designed for your Nivona bean to cup machine and will extend its life.

An ultra-effective, non-aggressive cleaning product that will protect your machine. This bottle contains 500 ml and will allow you to descale up to 5 times.

How to descale: Descaling should be carried out as soon as the machine prompts you to and/or if you find that the temperature of the drinks is too low.

Follow these steps:

• Empty your water drip tray and remove the water filter.
• Pour 10 cl of descaler into the water drip tray and fill up with clean water.
• Take a 1 litre container and place it under the nozzles
• Start the descaling programme using the machine menu
• Once the water has finished flowing, rinse and clean the drip tray before replacing it in the machine, once it is full again.
• The machine will then rinse. It is important to carry out one or two rinses to remove all residues of the descaler.
• Once this is done, the descaling light goes out, you can replace your water filter and make yourself a delicious coffee.
