The Story Of Delta Coffees

In 1961, Rui Nabeiro decided to create his own coffee brand. A true coffee expert and entrepreneur at heart, he began the journey with just two 30 kg roasting drums in a small 50 m² warehouse, located in the village of Campo Maior in Alentejo, southern Portugal.

Today, there are over 180 professions within Delta Q, and the roasting division alone employs more than 2,100 people. Delta Q also stands out for its strong commitment to corporate citizenship, having launched a sustainable development project aimed at improving environmental, social and economic conditions in coffee-producing regions.

This initiative seeks not only to develop high-quality coffee production, but also to ensure a healthy, responsible and sustainable industry, promoting economic growth and improving the quality of life of traditional communities while fully respecting their culture.
