The Acaia Pearl S precision scale offers different modes based on the chosen brewing method: timer mode, automatic tare, espresso mode, portafilter mode, and more.
The triple LED display allows you to see the flow rate, time, and weight depending on the selected mode. Flow rate data can help you perfect the pace and strength of your pour.
The brightness of the display has been optimized for better visibility outdoors.
The Acaia Pearl S scale offers customizations based on your needs, including customizable sound or voice notifications, allowing you to hear the weight and elapsed time.
Mode 1 – Weighing mode only
Mode 2 – Dual display mode: weight is shown, and the timer function is activated.
Mode 3 – Auto-start mode
Mode 4 – Portafilter mode: the portafilter is tared so you can grind coffee directly into it and check the amount obtained to adjust progressively. It resets after 30 seconds without weight on the scale.
Mode 5 – Espresso mode: the glass is automatically tared, and the timer starts as soon as liquid enters it.
Mode 6 – Flow mode: the weight and water flow rate of your pour are displayed, and the timer function is activated.
Mode 7 – "Brewguide" mode: the scale, linked with the Brewguide app (iOS and Android), displays instructions to follow for brewing coffee like a professional.
Mode 8 – Countdown mode.
The Brewguide app is an interactive guide to help you brew your coffee step by step. Use the Acaia Brewguide app to download recipes to your Pearl S via Bluetooth 5.0 and also discover guides created by roasters from around the world.
Different notification sounds: voice, music, or beeps, based on your preference.
