The Kalita Wave Tsubame 155 copper dripper allows you to brew a rich filter coffee using a slow coffee method (gentle pour-over extraction).
The contact between the dripper and the paper filter is minimized to ensure a smooth and even extraction of your coffee.
Its flat-bottom design ensures the coffee grounds are evenly distributed, making brewing simple while preserving full flavour.
Thanks to the three drainage holes, hot water does not accumulate but flows through at a steady rate, resulting in a smooth, balanced coffee with low bitterness.
The base allows you to place the dripper securely on a suitable carafe.
For better control and optimal results, it is recommended to use a gooseneck kettle or pouring kettle when brewing with the Kalita Wave Tsubame 155 copper dripper.
This Kalita dripper uses Kalita Wave 155 paper filters.

Kalita is a Japanese family business founded in 1958. It manufactures western-style utensils. This company was made world-famous thanks to its flat bottom dripper and basket coffee filter. Even today, the Kalita filter is considered one of the best ways to prepare and enjoy coffee.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.

The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
