The pre-folded square shape of Chemex natural filters removes the finest particles of sediment as well as unwanted oils and fats. The shape of the filter coffee allows for an appropriate infusion time, regulating the flow of filtration, neither too slow nor too fast.
Chemex filter coffee is made from North American pine trees and is manufactured in the USA from North American materials only, adhering to responsible and sustainable practices. The trees are harvested in a sustainable way to preserve resources.
The filterd are bleached by oxygen cleaning; no chlorine is used in this process.

The Chemex coffee maker was invented in 1941 by Dr Peter Schlumbohm PhD.
