Coffee Beans Finca Pampojila - Cafés Lugat - 250g

 

About the farm:

Produced on the Pampojila farm in Guatemala's Solola region, this coffee stands out for its liveliness on the palate similar to that of Huehuetenago coffees. The farm's location allows the cherries to develop a complex range of aromas. It is located close to the Atitlan volcano. As a result, the coffee trees benefit from volcanic soil and an altitude of between 1,470 and 1,720 metres. These factors, combined with washed processing and a responsible production method, mean that you get a unique pure-origin coffee.  


About the producer:

This farm is not only special for its original geographical location, which is ideal for growing coffee, but also for its history. Its producer, Alex Herrera, bought the farm in 2012, when it had just suffered damage from the Agatha storm. With his strength of spirit and energy, he restored the place, enabling over a hundred people to find work. Since that day, aware of the richness of the biodiversity surrounding his farm, he has never stopped improving and restoring it, and is fully committed to its development. His 500 hectares of land are now divided into two equal parts: one half dedicated to growing coffee trees and the other serving as a nature reserve.
