Specialty Coffee Beans Cordillera del Fuego - CAFÉS LUGAT

Specialty Coffee Cordillera del Fuego - CAFÉS LUGAT

A Mild Specialty Coffee With Fruity & Spicy Notes

Discover this coffee from a microlot produced in Costa Rica. It is grown on a family farm belonging to Fernando Cordero. The roasting process brings out the mild, spicy and fruity aromas of this coffee. When you taste it, you'll discover a fruity attack with notes of gingerbread on the mouthfeel.

The MaxiCoffee roasters discovered this coffee during their trip to the Tarrazu region. The coffee is grown on a farm that harvests each cherry from their 10-hectare plot. The coffee growers on this plot are curious about a new fermentation method. After harvesting, they use the Anaerobic Honey process, which consists of removing the pulp from the cherry before fermentation to bring out the full richness of the aroma. This fermentation method produces a natural sweetness, fruity notes and smoothness when tasted.
