Learn more about our Medium Roast:

This "special espresso" coffee is a medium roast that develops a generous body, powerful aromas and roundness in the mouth.

In contrast, our light roast coffees develop a marked acidity and a more complex range of aromas in the cup.

What Julien, roaster at Cafés Lugat, thinks:

avis torrefacteur

Julien* likes it for :

This coffee offers you a beautiful chocolatey attack, almost gourmand, thanks to the almond notes. You will appreciate its present and structured body as well as its long finish with cocoa notes.

The story of Cafés Lugat :

Lionel Lugat is the emblematic roaster of MaxiCoffee. Over the years, he has surrounded himself with a solid team of roasters.

He is a coffee expert, a judge at the French Coffee Championships and an informed columnist for our coffee channel. Lionel tells you the story of Cafés Lugat and his passion for the world of roasting below.

Introducing Cocla Coffee Beans

This coffee comes from the COCLA cooperative located in the Cusco region, in Quillabamba. The coffee trees are cultivated between 800 and 2000 meters of altitude, near the famous Machu Pichu. The coffee we offer is a blend of Typica, Caturra and Bourbon Arabica processed by washing. It benefits from excellent climatic conditions that favour a slow maturation of the coffee cherries. You will have a gourmet cup with a nice sweetness.
