Amadito Coffee Beans

AMADITO Coffee Beans Honduras Mexico

Never travelled before? Do it through coffee and discover the riches of Honduras and Mexico.

This organic specialty coffee, rated 82/100, is full of riches. First of all, it comes from Central and North America, and therefore from influential coffee-producing countries such as Honduras and Mexico. In San Marcos de Colo and Veracruz, this speciality coffee has developed exceptional organoleptic characteristics at high altitude.

Amadito Honduras Mexico is made from two varieties, Arabica and Robusta. The Robusta gives it a strong intensity, while the highly reputed Coffea Arabica gives it distinctive notes of fruit (lemon and tangerine) and chocolate notes. Ideal as an espresso, accompanied by chocolate-covered madeleines.

chef amadito arbelaz

Specialty Coffee Beans by AMADITO

By creating his Amadito brand, chef Juan Arbeleaz is perpetuating, in his own way, SA madeleine de Proust: his childhood memories of Colombia. As an introduction to his culture, to what has shaped him as a chef and as a man, he was determined to create a responsible and committed brand of delicatessen. He decided to name it Amadito, which means 'little loved one'. Since South America is a pillar of coffee culture, it was only natural that he chose coffee beans. What's more, the range expresses some of the values that chef Juan Arbeleaz holds dear and that make sense in a world like coffee: promoting a unique terroir, promoting sustainable agriculture, making quality coffee accessible to all. He works with two brothers, Pierre-Julien and Grégory Chantzios, who have also created their own brand based on their Franco-Greek roots, making it a benchmark on gourmet tables and in delicatessens around the world.

Several formats are available, as well as several ranges including Selection, Organic Selection, Forest Coffee and Decaffeinated. The products are hand-picked and roasted in the Paris region. For all these reasons, these are quality coffees regularly recognised by the Specialty Coffee Association Of America.
