First of all, you'll discover a tangy attack with citrus notes, and a round body with gourmet notes of almond. Enjoy a long, floral finish reminiscent of honey! Its medium roast makes it accessible to as many people as possible, creating a well-balanced cup.

To appreciate this coffee even more, learn more about its history and the farm where it was produced.  Cafetalera Buenos Aires is a 215-hectare family business, founded over 55 years ago by Luis Emilio Valladarez. The farm produces Caturra, Maracaturra and Villa Sarchi coffees, in honey, natural and washed processes. Located in the municipality of Buenos Aires, in the Dipilto mountains, the farm is in an area where speciality coffees are produced, close to the border with Honduras. The farm benefits from a microclimate, which favours the production of these speciality coffees.

The coffees are planted on sandy soil, at an altitude of between 1200 and 1700 metres, and the coffee trees are grown under shade (70% with a variety of species), with environmentally-friendly fertilisation of the soil and plants. The growers carry out comprehensive disease control and constantly monitor the production stages. Their main objective is to carry out in-depth work on quality, in order to develop a relationship of trust with their customers.

Today, the producer works with his son Olman on two plantations: Buenos Aires Estate and La Laguna. Since 2005, the aim of these passionate producers has been to develop in the world of speciality coffee. In 2014, their El Naranjo Dipilto (Maracaturra) batch reached second place on the podium of Nicaragua's Cup of Excellence!
