The Story of the Valladarez Family:
Luis Valladarez, founder of the farm, started his business by buying a small farm called Buenos Aires before buying two other farms La Laguna and El Suyatal.
Initially, all his crops were sold as cherries until the construction, a few years ago, of his own processing plant: Cafetalera Buenos Aires. The goal was to best control the production and export of his coffees.
In 2004, Luis Emilio's second son, Olman, joined his father and brother to manage and run the family farms.
In 2005 he began to introduce his micro lot coffees to the Nicaragua Cup of Excellence competition, obtaining very good results.
