Water Decaf is a 100% Arabica decaffeinated coffee beans sourced from Motozintla, in the Chiapas region of Mexico. This mountainous area, located between 1,200 and 1,320 metres above sea level, offers ideal conditions for coffee cultivation: a tropical climate, fertile soils and an environment perfectly suited to producing balanced and aromatic coffees.
In this region, coffee trees grow in the shade of Inga trees, a traditional method that encourages slower cherry maturation and enhances aromatic complexity. This coffee is produced by Jorge Arreola Nava, with harvesting taking place between August and December. After harvest, the beans are patio-dried, a traditional process that helps preserve the coffee’s quality.
