The Baristator puck screen is an accessory used in espresso preparation, designed to be placed on top of the tamped coffee (the ‘puck’) in the 58 mm filter holder before extraction. It promotes a more consistent extraction by ensuring even water distribution across the tamped coffee, which can reduce the risk of channels forming in the coffee. Three different designs are available.

We all strive to improve every aspect of our coffee extraction, and poor water distribution can have an impact on the result in the cup. Channeling is the barista's number one enemy!

Made from stainless steel, the Baristator puck screen solves this problem! This accessory sits on top of the ground coffee in the filter holder. It maintains constant pressure on the puck during extraction, allowing better water distribution across the grounds thanks to its 150 µm perforations.

The advantage of this small perforated stainless steel disc is that it keeps the shower head clean by creating a barrier between the puck and the shower head, preventing water from rising.

It measures 58.5 mm in diameter and is designed for 58 mm filter holders. 1.7 mm thick. 3 different designs are available.

It is very easy to clean and particularly durable. Simply rinse under water.
