Can the maintenance of my machine affect the quality of my drinks?
If the temperature or the quantity of coffee in your drinks drops or if you no longer get enough foam, you need to clean and descale your machine.
As a general rule, it is advisable to descale your machine every three months or so in order to extend its life.
As coffee is mostly made of water, scale or water filtration will directly affect the taste of your drinks. You can use a filter to insert in your water tank or use a carafe filter to have purified water.
