Traditional Coffee : These are the most widespread coffees in the various distribution channels in France, both private and professional.
Classic Coffee : There is generally a lack of information about the traceability of these coffees. They are often mass-market products and are easily accessible. The composition of these coffees can vary from 100% Arabica to over 20% Robusta.
The higher the rating, the more surprising your coffee tasting experience will be.

Lucaffè Exquisit is a classic Italian espresso blend designed to deliver harmony, smoothness, and rich aroma. Crafted with Lucaffè’s expertise in roasting, it prioritises consistency and broad appeal over sharp acidity or experimental flavours. Comprising around 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta, this blend combines the aromatic complexity and sweetness of Arabica with the body, structure, and crema provided by Robusta. Roasted in Italy to a medium to medium-dark level, it enhances sweetness and depth while avoiding harsh bitterness, revealing notes of cocoa, caramel, and malt. Lucaffè roasts and packs its coffees at its roasting facility in Carpenedolo, Italy. Luca Venturelli (roasting founder) tests and approves all new coffees himself : a guarantee of quality for a refined cup of coffee with a perfect balance of flavours.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
Please Note: this is not a flavoured coffee but aromatic notes noticed upon tasting.
The dominant aromatic group represents the most perceptible notes and the secondary group, the more subtle notes present in the cup.
