I use it alternately with the classic filter: depending on the size and shape of the cup, it can sometimes make a lot of foam, especially in a small container. But otherwise it's a great accessory.

The filter tends to deteriorate over time; I guess coffee gets in and it can't be cleaned. When it's new, it works very well.
