The Dripper Immersion SWITCH SSD-360-B by HARIO is an innovative accessory for filter coffee lovers. Designed to make up to 6 cups, it combines classic percolation extraction with the immersion method thanks to its valve system. This allows you to control the extraction flow: the coffee is first infused completely, then released by opening the valve at the base. Made from heat-resistant glass, it guarantees a smooth, controlled and aromatic brewing experience.
The Hario SSD-200-B dripper allows you to customise your extraction. A classic dripper controls the flow rate based on the grind size. The Switch Dripper is equipped with a closure at the base of the dripper to hold your coffee and develop different aromas and bitterness. Once the desired extraction time has elapsed, you can press the tab and the coffee will flow directly into your cup.
Place the dripper on a cup, insert the appropriate cone filter, press the tab and pour in water heated to 93°C (depending on the coffee chosen). This step is important to moisten and rinse your filter and heat your container so that there is no temperature difference. Empty your container before the next step and place the tab in the upper position. Place approximately 45 grams of coffee in the filter and pour 750 ml of water in a circle. After 30 seconds, take a spatula and stir the surface so that the coffee is completely moistened and a light foam forms. The extraction time is determined according to your taste, but total extraction should take around 4 minutes. Once finished, press the tab and enjoy your coffee.
