It's the Christmas cake par excellence. Panettone, a traditional Christmas cake from Milan, is one of the symbols of Christmas that you just can't get enough of, because it's so tasty. This panettone with Streglio (Italian chocolate) chips from Gran Galup in particular is perfect for sharing. Its triangular shape makes it easy to cut into thick, rich slices. This panettone comes with a sachet of flavoured icing sugar to sprinkle over it to coat it all in a delicate layer of sugar.
To enjoy the softness of your Christmas cakes, we recommend storing all your panettones in a dry, clean place away from sunlight, ideally between 18 and 20°C.
Ingredients Panettone: wheat flour, 21% free-range class A eggs, sugar, 16% butter (milk), 9% chocolate chips (sugar - cocoa powder, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural yeast (wheat flour, water), emulsifiers (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), whole milk, salt, cocoa butter, brewer's yeast, natural flavouring, vanilla flavouring.
