Brew your coffee directly into the accompanying hand-blown borosilicate glass, which features a flared rim to fully reveal the coffee’s complex aromas.

Using the Fellow Stagg X dripper: step-by-step guide for perfect coffee brewing

The Stagg X dripper functions like a traditional pour-over but benefits from its unique shape and double-walled stainless steel construction, ensuring superior heat retention and a more consistent extraction. It includes a small stand to rest the dripper after brewing, keeping your workspace tidy. This stand features helpful ratio markings to guide your coffee-making process. Simply heat 300 ml of water to 91-93 °C, measure 20 g of medium-ground coffee using the stand’s indicator, and place the dripper with a paper filter on the glass. After moistening the filter, add your coffee grounds and level them gently. Begin by pouring around 40 g of water over the grounds, allow 30 seconds for pre-infusion, then continue pouring in a slow, circular motion for 2.5 to 3 minutes. Once the coffee reaches the marked line on the glass, place the dripper on the stand to catch any drips and savour your perfectly brewed coffee.

Usage Tips

You can place the glass and dripper in the top rack of your dishwasher.

The glass is not microwave-safe. Do not place it on a stove or hot plate either.

Using a metal spoon in the glass can break the inner wall.

The dripper is to be used with X filters (30 are provided to start).

It is recommended to use a kettle with adjustable temperature to respect all the aromas of freshly ground coffee beans.
