Description
Keep your manual espresso machine’s group head spotless with Cafetto Evo Organic powdered cleaner. This 500g box offers an effective daily cleaning solution designed to remove coffee oils and residues, ensuring optimal machine performance and flavour quality.
To clean the shower head grille and the gasket of the brewing head:
- Use the rounded end of a 12 mm adjusting screw to clear the grid of the injection nozzle and the infusion head.
- Unscrew the brass spreader located inside the brewing unit using a short-bladed screwdriver.
- Clean the inside of the brew group head using the cleaning brush specifically provided for cleaning the brew group head.
- Using a damp cloth, clean the area where the portafilter engages in the brew group head.
- Soak the removed metal parts (injection shower grid, brass spreader) in a solution of 2 tea spoons of Cafetto Organic cleaner for espresso and hot water residue. Soak for 10 minutes. Rinse, dry and put them back in place
- Use the portafilter to lift the injection shower grid, which is positioned above the head gasket inside the head of the infuser. The chamfer on the gasket should be facing upwards.
- Once the gasket becomes brittle or the grid of the injection nozzle has been perforated, they will need to be replaced. These items are consumables.
To clean the portafilter:
- Remove the filter basket from the portafilter handle using a small screwdriver or the underside of the blind basket.
- Wipe the inside of the basket and the portafilter with a damp cloth.
- If coffee oils have accumulated, soak the metal end of the portafilter and the basket in Cafetto Organic Cleaner, as explained above.
- Rinse thoroughly, dry and put back in place.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
Please Note: this is not a flavoured coffee but aromatic notes noticed upon tasting.
The dominant aromatic group represents the most perceptible notes and the secondary group, the more subtle notes present in the cup.

Attributed by “Q Graders”, a coffee's /100 score is determined by the quality of the beans and the result in the cup. It is advisable to progressively move towards coffees with higher scores.
