' La Laguna Nature' coffee comes from the region of Dipilto in Nicaragua. It is a Caturra micro-lot from the 'La Laguna'  farm owned by the Valladarez family. The coffee beans were locally sourced and freshly roasted by the Cafés Lugat team. For a tasty balanced coffee with notes of milk chocolate, red fruits, hazelnut. Ideal as an espresso. 4 x 250g packs of coffee beans.

History of the Valladarez family:

Luis Valladarez, founder of the farm, started his business by buying a small farm called Buenos Aires before buying two other farms La Laguna and El Suyatal.

Initially, all his crops were sold as cherries until the construction, a few years ago, of his own processing plant: Cafetalera Buenos Aires. The goal was to best control the production and export of his coffees.

In 2004, Luis Emilio's second son, Olman, joined his father and brother to manage and run the family farms.

In 2005 he began to introduce his micro lot coffees to the Nicaragua Cup of Excellence competition, obtaining very good results.

Lionel and Marco from Cafés Lugat went to meet the Valladarez family in Nicaragua (from left to right: Marco, Lionel, Luis Emilio, Olman). On the menu: sampling coffee, visiting the farm and the processing plant.
