For its range of dark roast coffees, Cafés Lugat has selected a single-origin coffee from Brazil, sourced from the Fazenda California farm in Jacarezinho and managed by Luiz Saldanha. This coffee, called Origin, is distinguished by its predominance of red fruits reminiscent of cherries and, more subtly, candied raspberries. For its range of dark roast coffee beans, Cafés Lugat has selected a pure origin coffee from Brazil, grown at an altitude of 600 metres in Jacarezinho, at the Fazenda Califórnia. This farm is run by Luiz Saldanha, an agricultural engineer, MBA, certified Q-Grader and co-founder of Capricornio Coffees and Synapses Coffee Education.
Committed to sustainability, he has obtained UTZ (2007) and Rainforest Alliance (2011) certifications, making his farm the first certified farm in the state of Paraná. Luiz has collaborated with international experts to develop innovative fermentation methods inspired by oenology.
Fazenda Califórnia has won several awards, including the Cup of Excellence in 2010 and 2015, a gold medal at the Australian International Coffee Awards, and participated in the Starbucks Reserve programme with a yeast-fermented batch.
This pure origin 100% Arabica coffee bean from the Obatã variety is a dark roast natural coffee, artisanally roasted in France by the teams at Cafés Lugat.
On tasting, it has a fruity attack with notes of black cherries, a full body reminiscent of dark chocolate and a lingering finish with delicious notes.

Ingredients:
- An espresso made with Origin coffee beans
- 1.5 cl of caramel syrup
- A large glass
- A teaspoon of cinnamon syrup
- 30 cl of milk
