Description
Lugat Nicaragua El Mombacho is a 100% Arabica single-origin coffee from the Matagalpa region of Nicaragua. Grown at an altitude of 1,150 metres on the La Verona farm by Maria Felicitas Mairena de Gunkel, this washed coffee combines the Red Catuaí, Caturra and Castillo varieties.
Medium roasted in France, it produces a beautifully balanced cup with sweet, fruity notes. This 1 kg format contains four 250 g bags, helping to preserve the coffee’s freshness and aroma for longer, with free delivery included.

La Verona Farm grows its coffee under shade using agroforestry practices that help preserve and encourage local biodiversity.
Located within the El Arenal Nature Reserve, the farm dedicates a significant part of its land to protecting natural resources and the surrounding wildlife.
This responsible approach is complemented by family expertise passed down since the 1920s, making La Verona one of Nicaragua's most iconic speciality coffee farms today.

The type of roast will affect the balance of flavours (bitterness, acidity, sweetness, etc.) and reveal the aromas of the terroir to a greater or lesser extent.
The more the coffee is roasted the more its colour will change (from light to dark). The darker the roast, the more the aromatic notes are lost in favour of the roasting notes.
All our coffees have been placed in a colorimeter by our experts in order to compare the roast intensity.
The aromatic groups describe the tasting notes of your cup (hazelnut, chocolate, peach, white flowers, etc.).
If you don't know what your coffee profile is yet, we advise you to start with the most appreciated aromatic groups: rich & sweet or woody.
