A Perfect Diameter!

With its ultra-precise 58.6 mm diameter and flat base, the stainless steel base of this Baristator coffee tamper has been designed to pack all the ground coffee in your filter.

A traditional coffee tamper does not get close enough to the edge of your filter (and therefore causes a significant loss of grind). This Baristator tamper solves this problem, thanks to its larger diameter.  

This dynamometric tamper is suitable for manual espresso machine filter baskets with a 58 mm extraction unit.

A Well-designed Base

Its dynamometric handle will allow you to achieve the same precision in tamping throughout the day.  This will ensure that you get the same extraction, no matter how much force you apply when tamping.

This Baristator torque tamper is adjustable: unscrew the end of the handle to set the pressure to be applied.

Its shape is different from the classic "rectangular" tampers, and this is not for looks, but again, for efficiency.

Its diameter prevents any loss of grind, but the question of airflow can then arise: where a classic coffee tamper would cause the grind to be lifted by the suction effect, the Baristator dynamometric tamper allows the air to circulate progressively, to avoid any imbalance in air pressure.
