A Unique Design for a Cold Brew Carafe
Are you a fan of cold brew? Cold brewed coffee is the ideal drink in strong temperatures, both energising and refreshing! This carafe was designed and created by Italian designer Giulio Iacchetti.

How do I prepare a cold-brew? Place your ground coffee (medium grind) in the filter and pour in cold or room temperature water slowly and evenly to infuse all the grounds. Close the carafe and leave to infuse for at least eight hours in the fridge. This technique will give you a perfect extraction.

The hourglass or funnel shape is perfectly suited to the cold brew method, making it easier to pour the water, which then flows through the filter by percolation.

This carafe has borosilicate glass walls and an 18/10 stainless steel filter. It is hand-cleaned, but you can wash the lid, cap and filter in the dishwasher.

What is Cold Brew Coffee?
Cold brew is a very specific way of brewing and extracting coffee. It involves brewing ground coffee for at least eight hours in cold water or at room temperature. Although the coffee brews for many hours, it is not over-extracted. This technique avoids oxidation of the coffee, as it is not in contact with hot water, so you get an intense and very pleasant drink.

The name given to this product, Mazagran, comes from the name of a small Algerian town where the cold brew technique is said to have been invented. A real tribute to this superb discovery!
